I have recently discovered an amazing gluten-free and dairy-free smoothie recipe, so I had to share it with all of you! Not only is this smoothie incredibly delectable, but it will satisfy your sweet tooth whilst staying on your diet! Now, lets whip up a yummy & healthy on-the-go treat!
{Ingredients}
1 cup of soy milk (used as a base; can be flavored or unflavored)
1/2 avocado (used for a smooth consistency)
Cocao flavoring (used for a chocolate taste, without too many unneeded calories)
3 cups of ice (used for the chill factor)
1 whole banana (used for taste; optional ingredient)
Handful of strawberries (used for taste; optional ingredient)
Blend these ingredients together until your desired consistency, and enjoy!

I am one to always favor chic-clothes, but that option becomes hard when you're having an off day and just want to wear those comfy clothes that everyone has lurking in their closet! Why not have both?
I've recently discovered this amazing company called Texas Two Boutique! They have tons of adorable clothes at amazing prices! They were generous enough to send me two pieces of clothing, and today I'm reviewing the striped ombre tunic top. This top is incredibly comfortable, but also has a very classy look. You could pair it with some flats and leggings and run out of the door, or you could pair it with some skinny jeans and booties for a night on the town! What’s the fun of playing in the snow if you can’t add a little prep to your step? It’s hard to dress to impress in Winter when most preppy brands don’t make clothes that keep you warm! My first tip is to layer, layer, and layer some more! Since I’ve lived in the Midwest my whole life, I’ve realized that our Winters can be pretty rough. Layering clothing helps keep you warm, along with staying stylish by wearing a tank top or long sleeve under your favorite top!
Vests can also be a huge help in helping you stay warm without committing to a winter jacket. Also, vests can be casual or dressy depending on what you pair it with.
Another tip to staying toasty in the Winter months is to get some fun colored outerwear! I’m an avid scarf-wearer, but I recently decided to try something new! I discovered this adorable etsy shop called “The Preppy Stitches”, and they sells tons of Lilly accessories! I received some adorable “Oh Shello” Lilly bow gloves, and a cozy headband to match!

My blog is finally up & running, and I am so excited to start this journey with all of you! I thought that I would first start out by telling you a little about myself!
I am born and raised in the lovely Midwest! I absolutely love living here, and I would really like to meet some of my fellow Midwesterners! I am a senior in high school, and my birthday is in the Spring. My favorite colors are pink, gold, and navy! Those are actually going to be my dorm room colors when I head off to college next year! My favorite Lilly print is First Impressions, but I love many other prints as well! I always dress to impress, and you will most likely never catch me without any accessories. My passions are writing and photography, so I think blogging suits me very well. Those are some basic facts about me, but I will definitely be doing more Q & A's in the future!
